Samsung's own bada platform for smart phones has reached version 1.2 already on some devices. The first units of the Wave series, the S8500 has not yet received the update. Samsung announced via Twitter, but now that the free units in the first quarter of 2011, the update can be obtained.
bada 1.2 a couple of changes does the UI, T9 input method similar to trace a Swype, developed by Samsung and many bug fixes and changes under the hood.
Whether bada 2.0 with a wide variety of change ( mobile sector reported ) for the Wave appears, however, Samsung can remain open without comment.
